Elizabeth Anne Bush, 65, passed away peacefully at home on March 12, 2021. She was surrounded by family and friends. She was the beloved partner of Thomas Scileppi for 36 years. She is survived by stepchildren Maria Scileppi, Tom Scileppi Jr (Meghan) grandchildren Sullivan and Genevieve, her brother Terry Bush (Debbie), her sister Mary Ellen Kaminski (Tom), and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Jim and Betty Bush, brother Jimmy Bush and sister Kathleen Bush.
Originally from Detroit, MI, Anne graduated from Michigan State University. She worked as a Billing Supervisor for Denton’s, a law firm, in Chicago, IL. Anne was a friendly, hardworking, and intelligent woman. She made friends easily and in the course of her Metra commute over the years, she became friends with seven other women known as the “train ladies”. This strong friendship lasted 23 years until her death. Anne was known for her wit, humor, and love of the people she cared for. In her leisure time, Anne enjoyed reading, cooking, traveling, and fishing in Wisconsin.
Due to Covid-19, there will be a memorial for Anne at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Maloney Funeral Directory, 1359 W Devon Ave. Chicago, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Greenpeace. (Greenpeace.org)
